a vigorous and relevant genre, if there is precision,
unity of effect and structural unity. The Short
Story writer must have "an idea" or "impression"
to
communicate, which should be developed by the
characters and incidents. Within the vivid and
racy Short Stories an effective climax should
be built up. A Short Story can "touch heaven
and earth and hell" by portraying the whole

short stories on any theme (maximum 2500 words) must be
in English.
